Help Preserve the American art form of Barbershop Harmony.
Thank you for your consideration! Your contribution may provide:
- Musical arrangements for barbershop are as unique as our art form.
Arrangements are custom orders and are often created especially for our chorus.
- Dynamic coaches teach quarterly to build vocal, story-telling and performance
skills.
- Costumes that enhance the choreography and create visual interest to draw
the audience into each performance.
- Basic needs ~ rent for a rehearsal site, learning track production and
membership materials.
- The gift of knowledge for a music staff or management team member to attend
training schools.
- Or, choose to share your support of vocal music with a student or needy member,
through our assistance funds described below.

In 2009, the chorus Management Team established a succession plan to help
guarantee the future of the chorus' presence in the St. Louis community for
generations to come.

The Jan Johnston Memorial Scholarship Fund
Jan Johnston, mother of our director, Sandi Wright, was a member of St. Louis Harmony
Chorus from 1961 to 1983. She was a choreographer, served as chorus president, and was
a regional quartet champion in 1957. She passed away on June 8, 2004.
Jan had a strong interest in bringing young people into barbershop, and in her memory,
the chorus has established the Jan Johnston Memorial Scholarship Fund, to provide
membership assistance for chorus members under the age of 25. For more information
contact Celia Henson.
The Angel Fund
Anonymous support from this fund assists existing members in financial crisis ~ loss of
job, loss of home, etc. with commitments needed to remain active in the chorus. Chorus
Administrative Team Coordinator administers confidential applications. For more information
